The Patient-Centered Primary Care Collaborative held its summer Stakeholders' Working Group Meeting in Washington, DC on July 22. Focusing on 'The PCMH in the Community,' the keynote speakers were Mary Wakefield, Ph.D, R.N., Administrator, Health Resources and Services Administration, HHS, and Anthony Rodgers, Deputy Administrator and Director of the Center for Strategic Planning at CMS. David Meyers, from AHRQ, gave a presentation in which he announced AHRQ's new PCMH website. ACP's Bob Doherty was an advisor for the new website. At its July 22 Stakeholders' Working Group Meeting, the Patient-Centered Primary Care Collaborative released two guides.
'The Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH): Integrating Comprehensive Medication Management to Optimize Patient Outcomes' was developed by the PCPCC Medication Management Task Force and 'Payment Reform to Support High-Performing Practice' was developed by the PCPCC Payment Reform Task Force. |
