The Conception Kit™ is designed for couples who want to enhance their opportunity to conceive in the privacy of home.
Each kit contains the only FDA-cleared cervical cap for at-home conception, fertility prediction tools, semen collectors, pregnancy tests and timing wheels. These components are designed to be used together for up to three months.

The cornerstone of the kit is the Conception Cap®, which brings the semen in direct contact with the opening of the cervix for four to six hours. This allows the sperm cells a greater opportunity to move into the uterine cavity and fertilize an egg.

By using a Conception Cap® you are placing the sperm in direct contact with the cervical opening which increases your opportunity to conceive. Only the direct contact Conception Cap® can do this in the privacy of home.
The purpose of the Conception Cap® is to concentrate all the available semen, unexposed to the vaginal environment, at the opening of the cervical os where it will be in contact with the cervical mucus.
From there the sperm leave the semen, swim though the cervical mucus and into the uterus, and then swim into the fallopian tube in search of the egg.
By placing the semen in the Conception Cap® and then placing the cap on your cervix you accomplish the following:
- Slow swimming sperm won’t have to travel through the vagina but are placed directly at the opening of the cervix. This gives more sperm the opportunity to swim through the cervix and meet up with the egg.
- Semen that contains a low sperm count now has the benefit of being placed right at the cervical Os (the opening in the cervix), giving all of the sperm a head start to find the egg.
- The sperm are shielded from hostile environmental factors in the vagina, such as high or low pH or a yeast infection. Such hostile factors can, under ordinary circumstances, kill or significantly affect the motility of the sperm.
- Allow a tilted cervix to connect with all available semen that is produced during ejaculation. Without the Conception Cap®, a tilted cervix might fail to come into contact with the semen pool.
- The Conception Cap® works with the other components of the Conception Kit™ to enhance your opportunity to conceive. To ensure that all of the components used with the Conception Cap® meet our quality standards, it is only sold as part of the Conception Kit™.
If you are taking fertility medication such as clomiphene citrate (commonly sold as Clomid®), the Conception Kit™ is the perfect addition to your treatment routine. It helps patients enhance their opportunity to conceive by providing:
- A private, FDA-cleared step to take before moving on to more expensive, invasive clinical procedures.
- A safe way to maximize each medication cycle by placing sperm where they need to be at the optimum time for conception.
 In order to fertilize an egg in the fallopian tube, sperm must first leave the semen pool and pass through the mucous layer of the cervical os, or opening. Unfortunately, normal sexual intercourse is not the most effective way to deliver sperm to this area. In fact, only a small percentage of available sperm actually make it to the cervical os after being ejaculated into the vaginal canal. Now that you are using fertility medication to stimulate your egg production, it is important to give every available sperm the opportunity to swim through the cervical os and continue the journey towards the egg.
The kit's Conception Cap® helps you acheive this by:
- Shielding the fragile sperm cells from the acidic environment of the vagina, allowing sperm to live for hours instead of minutes;
- Preventing the backflow of semen into the vagina due to gravity;
- Holding a concentrated pool of semen in direct contact with the cervical mucous for 4 to 6 hours.
Remember: Fertility drugs can only be used for a limited time.

The Conception Kit was designed to address some of the more common problems that might be keeping a couple from becoming pregnant.
On the male side…the Conception Kit can help address the following problems:
- Low sperm motility (weak swimming sperm)
- Low sperm count
- Irregular position of the penis opening (hypospadias and epispadias)
When sperm are concentrated in the Conception Cap, they do not have to contend with the following issues:
- Making the long journey through the vaginal cavity to the cervix
- Being pulled out of the vaginal cavity by the penis
- Becoming lost in the vagina
- Being flushed out by gravity
- Being met by a hostile vaginal environment, or
- Semen not pooling in the right location to meet up with the cervix
For men with low sperm count or motility issues the Conception Cap will help enhance the opportunity to conceive. The position of the penis opening is also not a factor when using the Conception Kit. With the Conception Kit the semen is collected in a special semen collector and transferred to the Conception Cap.
On the female side…the Conception Kit can help address the following problems:
- Timing ovulation
- Hostile vaginal environment
- Position during intercourse
- Tilted cervix
For females...when the semen/sperm are positioned in the Conception Cap a tilted cervix or position of intercourse is not an issue since the sperm are placed directly on the cervix! A hostile vaginal enviroment is also addressed since the sperm are inside the Conception Cap and will not touch the vaginal enviroment. Timing ovulation is made easier with 8 ovulation predictors per month (24 total).

- Scarred uterus
- Cervical stenosis
- Blocked fallopian tube
- Zero sperm count (Azospermic)

- Low amounts of follicle stimulating hormone
- Age
- The Conception Cap is made of General Electric silopren which is the same material used to make heart replacement valves.
