The physicians and staff at Duke Signature Care want you to know that we continue to be here for your healthcare needs during this time.
In parallel to changes occurring throughout Duke Health, we continue to modify our practice for your safety and the safety of our staff. All patients that are seen at our Center for Living office will be screened with a brief questionnaire. Soon, infrared temperature screening will also occur. If you screen positive, we will direct your care accordingly. One visitor is allowed to accompany each patient to an appointment. Finally, in addition to our routine hand hygiene processes, all staff are now required to wear surgical mask in the office setting to help minimize the risk of spreading any potential infection.
We continue to offer alternative visit encounters including extended telephone visits and video visits. Urgent visits can be scheduled by contacting our nurse triage staff. Routine visits can be scheduled by contacting our desk. Video visits through your Duke MyChart platform does require appropriate software and connectivity. Our staff can reach out to you for any scheduled visit to assist you in this process. We ask for your patience as we continue to work out issues on our video visit platform.
As always, you can reach us at 919-660-6746.
