We hope that this message finds you safe and healthy during this uncertain time. We want to continue to reinforce to you that we are here to help you with your healthcare needs and questions during this time frame.
For your safety and convenience, effective Monday, March 23 we will consolidate our medical services to our Center for Living office on Erwin Road.
Our Center for Living office will be able to provide physician and nursing services, radiology and laboratory studies in the context of providing "social distancing" from others thereby reducing the risk for potential infection.
If you have an upcoming scheduled appointment over the next several weeks, we will reach out to you to ask if you would like to keep your scheduled appointment or to have your care needs addressed through an interactive video visit or an extended telephonic visit.
As always, if you have acute concerns or request to be seen for other reasons, please contact us directly through our office number 919-660-6746. For routine concerns in addition to a scheduled visit in the office, if you prefer, we can set up a video visit or an extended telephone visit. For acute concerns, you will be directed to our nurse triage who can help facilitate follow-up.
To improve and standardize more routine messaging, we ask that you use your Duke MyChart portal versus text messaging or personal email. This will prevent us from dropping messages and calls during this hectic time.
We realize that this is a stressful time for many. There are many resources and simple ways that are available to reduce anxiety and stress that can be accessed on the internet. Updated information from Duke Health is available at https://www.dukehealth.org/covid-19-update.
Please contact us if you have questions.
