The physicians and staff at Duke Signature Care hope that you continue to be safe and well during the COVID pandemic.

It has been approximately 8 weeks since our routine schedules have been disrupted, but we continue to work to meet your medical needs through our nurse triage, extended telephone visits, video visits and when appropriate, in person visits to our Center for Living office. We thank you for your flexibility and support during this time. As the situation stabilizes, we will be increasing our office access over the next several weeks to accommodate your healthcare needs. We understand that you may have concern about COVID, but we want to reassure you that we continue to remain vigilant in taking significant steps to reduce chances for infection.

We will continue to see all of our patients at our Center for Living office site for now. If you have a scheduled visit, please contact us if you wish to reschedule or convert your visit to a video visit. When you come to the office, we now offer electronic check-in to help reduce your time in our waiting room. We require that all patients use appropriate hand sanitizer. Symptom screening and temperature monitoring of all patients and staff is designed to limit risk and provide appropriate safeguards in your care. We will provide and ask that all patient wear a mask and limit the number of visitors to one person. We have modified our spaces to help maintain social distancing in our office and modified our schedules to help decrease congestion in the office. You will notice increased attention to cleaning in the waiting room and exam room. Physicians and clinic staff will continue to wear facemasks and as always, we continue to practice vigorous handwashing. For additional details, please visit the Duke Heath website at https://www.dukehealth.org/covid-19-update.

We understand that these changes may initially seem awkward, but we want to guarantee your safety and still maintain the personal level of care that you should expect from our practice.

Please contact us if you have questions regarding our new processes and how we can improve your care via dukemychart.org or 919-660-6746.
