How it Works

Patients are directed by the physician and/or practice to your website for health and practice information (e.g., forms, questionnaires, insurance, etc.). When the patient visits your website, he or she has the opportunity to sign up for your practice eNewsletter which also features the patient's own physician. You can also sign up patients to receive your health eNewsletter through your personal administrative portal. The eNewsletter is then sent weekly. Current statistics show that readership of these eNewsletters by patients is well above the rates shown on other general health web portals making it one of the most powerful tools to direct patients to your website on a regular basis.

Physicians receive weekly clinical eNewsletters specific to their specialty as well as statistics about the usage of their website, including survey responses from their patients. Because these eNewsletters are tailored to the physician as well as his or her own patients, readership rates are very high.

Technology

The HealthBanks product suite is a highly scalable, database-driven content management and communication system. It is provided on a hosted ASP basis so the practice has no need for IT or software installation. Online signup allows for full-functioning websites to be created in real-time (i.e., immediately online). Alternatively, imports of large databases of physicians and their associated affiliations can create these individual websites (along with their supporting portals) at a rate of approximately one site per second.
