Dr. Urman brushed off every medical concern i had and then told me i needed a psych exam because he couldn't find anything wrong with me. If you go to him looking for answers then goodluck because you won't get any. I have now been diagnosed with 8 chronic illnesses, 2 of which have the potential to be deadly. I would not recommend him to anyone. I was very disappointed by the care i received from him since most of his patients can't stop singing his praises. He was a bad and neglectful doctor who's ego was too big to admit he didn't know what was wrong (but writing me off as a psych patient was totally acceptable in his books). If you have any form of autonomic dysfunction, or suspect you do, do NOT see him.

Dr Mark Urman is as good is it gets. He is an exceptionally great doctor, excellent bedside manner, very professional and courteous office staff. I would give them all 10 stars! I have been a patient for many years and will never leave. His technical knowledge of cardiology and general health care is without peer. I have recommend all of my family and friends to him and everyone shares the same opinion! He has helped me lose weight, lower cholesterol, lower blood pressure and heart rate and treat other health issues. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Urman has been my internist and cardiologist for the past 20 years or so and gives nothing but the best service and attention to your needs. He takes the necessary time to listen to you and not just rush through things. His staff is also very professional and courteous. And his office is comfortable and inviting. Could not recommend more highly!

My first thought on Mark is "above and beyond." My wife was recently at Cedars for surgery. Mark isn't her primary doctor but his attention to detail and follow up impressed me. I'm grateful for him for helping my wife. Mark called and dropped by my wife's room every day. Mark was able to reach the surgeon (name withheld), who only called me once right after surgery.

Dr. Urman is the brightest, most thorough and caring cardiologist I know and I've canvassed Los Angeles thoroughly over the last 14 years. I highly recommend him and believe that he saved my life when I had my heart attack on January 8th. He's following and seeing my through the rehab as well and can not recommend or thank him enough. He's an excellent doctor and refer him to my patients.

Dr. Urman is a great guy who takes time to explain what's going on with your cardio system. He's also well respected by Doctors in other fields and the waiting room/ office is comfortable. I've been going to Dr. Urman for several years and I would highly recommend him.

I highly recommend Dr. Urman to those seeking a coronary care physician. I was diagnosed with a mitral valve prolapse and referred to Dr. Urman from my primary care physician. Dr. Urman provided exemplary care over many years. In the Spring of 2018, my condition had worsened and he recommended a surgical repair. I strongly feel his advise of managing the condition up to the surgery and when to undertake the surgery were optimal timing. I was at an age that I could get through the surgery with minimal impact. After six months, I feel great and so happy with the outcome. His communication skills and patient-doctor relationship are exceptional. He takes time, he explains things, he takes a challenging medical condition and makes you feel cared for. I also want to extend my compliments to the entire staff. They are all fantastic and professional. Thanks Dr. Urman and staff for all of your fantastic service over the years and all you have done for me over the years.

I have worked in the healthcare field for over 20 years, so I know for a fact that not all doctors are the same. In today's day and age, doctors overbook and under serve their patients. On the flip side, Dr. Urman is one of the best! He spends time with you and genuinely listens to his patients. I was referred to Dr. Urman by another cardiologist. He went over my history and put me at ease about a previously diagnosed condition. After a thorough exam and questioning he spent time informing me on how to keep healthy with my family's history of heart disease. He went into detail to describe medications that other doctors had given me and we are deciding (together) whether or not he will make changes to those meds. I feel very comfortable around him -- so comfortable, I referred my husband (who also is impressed with him). His office is beautiful and his front office staff is professional and courteous (shout out to Leslie at the front desk). If you are tired of feeling like a number in your doctor's office, I highly recommend Dr. Urman!

Dr. Urman is an outstanding Cardiologist. I have seen him for two years now, and he is very thorough and engaged with his patients. Moreover, he knows the literature and understands the latest measures to reduce cholesterol, and to determine pre-existing heart disease risks. I am thrilled to have found a great Cardiologist!

Dr Urman is a superb professional. He is thorough, caring, compassionate and friendly. I feel at ease under his care. He explained step by step the different tests and examinations he performed on me and got me my results right away. Dr Urman also cared for my grandmother years ago and when I needed a cardiologist I didn't hesitate to see him. Making my appointment was easy and his office staff and nurses are professional and personable.
