100,000 Amazon Mattresses Recalled Over Fire Hazard

MONDAY, June 23, 2025 (HealthDay News) — If you bought a Crayan mattress on Amazon in the last two years, you may need to stop using it right away.

About 100,000 mattresses are being recalled because they don’t meet federal flammability standards, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) said in a notice posted June 18.

The mattresses can pose a fire hazard, although no injuries or incidents have been reported so far, Parade said in a report.

The recall involves Crayan brand 10- and 12-inch mattresses in twin, full, queen and king sizes.

The mattresses are single-sided with a white quilted top and gray sides. The name “Crayan” appears on the gray side panel, and the label includes mattress size, fiber content and “WG/P Foundation.”

The recalled mattresses were made in Japan and sold only on Amazon.com between July 2022 and June 2024. Prices ranged from $100 to $220, Parade said.

If you own one of these mattresses, stop using it immediately.

To get a refund, contact Crayan at crayan_service@hotmail.com.

You’ll be asked to mark the mattress with the word “Recalled” in large letters across the white top panel. Then, send a photo of the marked mattress to the email address above.

Once approved, Crayan will issue a full refund.

The company says it has already contacted customers who purchased the mattresses. But if you think you may have missed the notice, it's worth checking your order history on Amazon or contacting Crayan directly.
