Evaluation of ICUs and Weight of Quality Control Indicators: An Exploratory Study Based on Chinese ICU Quality Data From 2015 to 2020

In modern healthcare systems, critical care medicine is essential, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, due to the complexity of patient conditions and the invasiveness of treatments, the incidence of adverse events is relatively high. To improve ICU quality, China introduced 15 quality control indicators in 2015, but the relationships among these indicators and their key influencing factors remain unclear. A study led by Xiang Zhou from Peking Union Medical College Hospital and colleagues has explored this issue in depth.
