How Texas A&M University is Empowering the Next Generation of Veterinarians with CLSI VET09

At Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, veterinarian students are introduced early to the crucial practice of antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST). Since 2019, the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences has integrated CLSI VET09 | Understanding Susceptibility Test Data as a Component of Antimicrobial Stewardship in Veterinary Settings, into its curriculum, providing students with a hands-on guide to understanding AST results with real-world precision.
